Enigma (formerly Phocea) is a sailing yacht built by DCAN in Toulon, France in 1976. It is 75 meters long and can sail in the right weather conditions at 11 knots. Like many yachts, it received a number of references and most of it took place in Germany in 2000. As a sailing yacht, a team of 16 sailors and 12 guests can be accommodated. The Enigma is a four-masted sailboat. Phocea was originally built for speed and within 8 days it crossed the Atlantic to 30 knots under sailing. After a while it was converted more for the luxurious look and used in the charter market.
Phocea was the world's largest sailing boat before the royal huisman launch of Athena in 2004. In 1976, it was built at the Toulon Naval Shipyard for The Club Méditerranée, a single-handed yacht, Alain Colas. A new Jorg Biederbeck interior design and a new Tim Heywood exterior were converted into Charters and renamed La Vie Claire.

The PHOCEA, commissioned by French sailor Alain Colas to compete in the Observer Single-Handed Transatlantic Race, was originally built for speed only, but has been redesigned to offer the best luxury yacht experience.
Following its latest metamorphosis at the Lurssen shipyard, it now hosts 12 guests in its 6 spacious cabins and also offers comfortable outdoor dining areas, a gym, sauna and beauty facilities.
With its interior, beautiful wood panelling, tasteful decorations and some elegant David Linley furniture, it offers quality living and accommodation. The suite owns the beautiful view and is located on the main deck, while the VIP guest house and four other double cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms, are located on the lower deck.
It was acquired by Phocea Mouna Ayoub in July 1997 and modernised in Lürssen. While preserving his unique identity, great interior and exterior improvements were made by British naval architect Butch Dalrymple-Smith. interiors feature wood panels and furniture designed by David Linley.
